Le Safran Marocain, les milliards qui profitent aux villageois

Le Maroc est le deuxième pays producteur apres l’Iran
La majorité du Safran Marocain  est cultivé a Taliouine région de Taroudant, d’autres tentatives sont exploitées ailleurs au Maroc et semblent prometteuses.
Le Maroc produit Qutre tonnes de Safran par an soit l’equivalent de plus de vingt quatre milliards de cts ou deux cents quarante millions de Dirhams.
Il faut environ 150 fleures pour produire un seul gramme de Safran vendu environ en détails a 2000 Euros le kilogramme
Les fleures de Safran s’épanouissent après le mois de Maris et les quelques cheveux que coontiennent chaque fleures sont cueillies manuellement par des mains féminines expertes
en général les femmes Amazigh;
Pour valoriser la culture , le magasinage et la vente de ce produit le Maroc a opté par
la création et le soutien de coopératives locales
Un moussen est egalemnt organisé chaque année pour promouvoir la région et sa culture

Moroccan Saffron, the billions that benefit to villagers

Morocco is the second producer country after Iran
The majority of Moroccan Saffron is cultivated in Taliouine region of Taroudant, other attempts are exploited elsewhere in Morocco and seem promising.
Morocco produces four tonnes of saffron per year, the equivalent of more than twenty four billion cts or two hundred and forty million dirhams.
It takes about 150 flowers to produce a single gram of Saffron sold at around 2,000 Euros per kilogram
Saffron flowers bloom after the month of husbands and the few hairs that each flower contains are manually picked by expert female hands
usually Amazigh women;
To enhance the culture, shopping and sale of this product, Morocco has opted for
the creation and support of local cooperatives
A moussen is also organized every year to promote the region and its culture
