Industrial property :
It is an exclusive right that entitles the holder to enjoy the benefits or use of the property. It concerns the following intangibles: Technical creations, ornamental creations, and distinctive signs.
This law provides for provisions on the opposition system for trademarks, border measures for counterfeit goods, the protection of sound and olfactory marks, and the filing of trademarks in electronic form.
The formalities of protection of industrial and commercial property rights and the application of international and national legislation are carried out at the Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC).
